Morgado and Álamos, are designed by European Golf Design and are both onsite. They are surrounded by the natural beauty and the Monchique Mountains, providing stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere. NAU guests also have the option of playing Salgados GC, with free transportation provide by the hotel.

Morgado – 18 holes – 6,433 metres – Par 73
Opened in 2003, Morgado has wide fairways and large greens, the course presents a fair yet challenging experience for players of all levels. The course’s design is inspired by traditional Scottish links, evident in its flat fairways and strategically placed bunkers, yet it is set amidst the parkland of the Algarve, providing a unique blend of styles. Morgado hosted the Portuguese Open from 2017 to 2019, underlining its championship pedigree.

Álamos – 18 holes – 5641 metres – Par 71

Opened in 2006, this course is shorter than Morgado, yet offers a challenging experience with narrow tighter fairways and smaller undulating greens, demanding precision and strategic play. The course is set amidst the tranquil countryside, providing stunning views of the Monchique Mountains, lakes and vineyards, creating a harmonious blend of nature and sport.
